Some of the most meaningful questions in life get asked in the most underwhelming ways — a rushed text, a nervous mumble, a note slid across a table. We thought the people asking them deserved better.
THE SPARK
It started with a question too important to be just a text. A heartfelt message, buried under memes and forgotten by the next scroll. The feeling was real — the format wasn't. We started asking: what if popping the question, planning a date, saying sorry, or being someone's Valentine — what if every moment like that had a proper stage?
WHY NAIROBI
Nairobi is loud and fast and full of people who feel deeply. But the tools for making big asks — proposal apps, date-invite platforms, apology cards — were all built for somewhere else. Prices in dollars. Vibes that didn't fit. Payment methods that didn't work. We built Yessify from scratch, for here. M-Pesa. Swahili. Themes that feel like the city. Asks that land.
